The Social Centre, named after Eleanor Akosua Akufo-Addo, serves as a tribute to her life and the positive impact she had during her time.
Located in Asante Mampong, the centre also serves as her final resting place.
To mark the 30th anniversary of her passing, the family organized a ceremony in her honor.

Eleanor Akufo-Addo was a highly respected lawyer and held the notable position of being the first Ashanti Regional Manager of DHL. She came from the Botase Royal Family of Asante Mampong and was known for her beauty, grace, kindness, and polite demeanor.
To commemorate her 30th anniversary, a special event was held at Asante Mampong, where she was laid to rest.
The ceremony began with a wreath-laying at her gravesite, followed by a short anniversary service.
