The incident of a bird allegedly transforming into a human being has captured attention due to its peculiar nature.
According to a report shared in a video by UTV on Twitter, the incident took place in Gomoa Mampong, located in the Central Region.
UTV reporter Seth Mantey provided details, stating that the event occurred in the house of an individual named Paa Kwesi.
"When we arrived in Gomoa Mampong, we found a crowd gathered around Paa Kwesi's house. People informed us that Paa Kwesi had been sick for about two months, experiencing recurring headaches at night," Mantey explained.
Seeking spiritual guidance, the family consulted a prophetess who advised them to pray at midnight. Acting on this instruction, the family stayed up late to pray, and during the prayer session, peculiar occurrences unfolded.
While they were engaged in prayer, two birds landed on their building. After some time, one of the birds flew away, leaving the other behind.
Suddenly, they heard a loud noise from outside, prompting them to investigate. To their astonishment, the remaining bird had supposedly transformed into a human being.
Upon questioning, the transformed individual claimed to be from New Winneba and revealed that she had been paid GH¢50 to kill Paa Kwesi.
A sub-chief of the area named Nana Antwi intervened, urging community members not to harm the young lady. He subsequently contacted the police to handle the situation.
The reporter added that after the alleged witch mentioned her place of origin, she became unable to speak.
The case involving the supposed transformation of a bird into a 30-year-old woman has been reported to the Ghana Police Service at Gomoa Okyereko.
